Health Care Code Red!
Message from Secure Arkansas
CALL, CALL, CALL – TUES., WED., AND THUR., Etc. PLEASE SHARE THIS EMAIL WITH EVERY CONSERVATIVE YOU KNOW.
Our country needs us all, now! We are united and we will win because we stick together.
For years Congress has used distorted and contextually dishonest data to convince Americans our healthcare system is broken. Yes, there are problems. But Congress’ solution is like fixing a flat tire by crushing the engine. The more Americans learn, the more they realize this solution is worse than the problem ever was. Healthcare and the protections we all depend on will be completely broken if Congress takes it over.
We are into the Code Red hour and you can help. If you cannot be in DC tomorrow, Tues. 15th, then visit your local Representatives office and Call, Call, Call. You ARE having an impact! WE must deluge the switchboards so they can hear us! Congress gets very uncomfortable when confronted by the people.
Here are some different thoughts you might want to use when speaking to Senators outside your state:
*Tip: When you call, be calm and reasonable. These people are under immense pressure, and we want to ratchet it up. If, after a few calls, you get frustrated, skip to the bottom of the page and call into friendly territory under Senate Minority Leadership. (They need your support too.)
1. “I’m calling because your vote effects the entire nation, not just (name the state.) We want you to help us get open meetings between the insured and the providers to find a way to lower costs and cover more uninsured. We DO NOT want a government takeover of our healthcare system. Please help us stop the healthcare bill.”
2. “Mr. Obama’s promises to you are no better than the ones to us. He threw Creigh Deeds under the bus when he was losing, trashed insurers when they tried to speak their mind and fired hand-picked Fritz Henderson because he wanted more autonomy. The same will happen to you if you don’t do what he says. Please stick up for both of us us and help stop the healthcare bill.”
3. “You are not the enemy. Mr. Obama is wrong when he says we will not support a Democrat. We will support anyone who stands up for us, the people and stops the power grabs of this administration. The president is stripping away your power and our freedom. Please help us stop the healthcare bill.”
