Obama Offensive in Arkansas

I just opened my latest email from Obama’s continuous campaign organization, Organizing for America (OFA). Arkansas’ State Director of OFA, Kyle Simon was kind enough to inform me they’re launching an offensive in my home state of Arkansas.
We need to make our presence felt. Here’s the schedule for all the Arkansas stops this month. If at all possible, attend these meetings and make sure they hear our voice!

John, thanks for posting this info. I wonder if our Democrat U.S. Representatives will even show up at these meetings. As of today, Rep Marion Berry has no announced Town Hall meetings. Don’t know yet about Rep. Mike Ross. Rep. Vic Snyder is holding at least one town hall hosted by the unions.
Today, in Mountain Home, my wife went face-to-face with Rep. Marion Berry’s assigned staff member outside of Marion Berry’s office door in the Baxter county Courthouse. He did not invite my wife in and she is a well known county election commissioner.
My wife simply wanted to know when or if Rep. Berry was going to have any town hall meetings to meet and listen to the concerns of the voters. His answer, now get this – he is Marion Berry’s contact for constituents and is the former Mayor of Mountain Home – was to call Marion Berry. This is one of the three offices, provided for constituents to call or to visit for assistance. Which one of Berry’s office was she supposed call next to reach Marion Berry?
Also interesting is that we know this person to be a professing Christian who openly states that he is against abortion and yet, he seemed to be totally oblivious to the fact that the House committee specifically included in the house bill passed out of the committee approval of funding of abortion. And they voting down an amendment to exclude federal money for health care being used for health care.

It’s absolutely incredible that Berry dismisses us this way. They can’t specifically address even one of my concerns with this bill. Any response his offices gives me is vague and evasive. Now it looks like he and our other Dems in Congress plan to let OFA do the dirty work of lying to Arkansans to get support for rationed care, taxpayer funded abortion, euthanasia and unprecedented government intrusion into our personal lives.
Our country is at stake.
I’ve registered for both events in LR. First on the 11th and then on the 20th. Will report on how it goes.
John, why would we want to register? Why shouldn’t we just show up and surprise them with our turnout?
I’m thinking they may try to pack the crowd with their supporters by only allowing in those who’re registered. I have no evidence of this, but Obama’s handpicked Town Hall attendees in the past make me think this may happen here. If we register and they limit attendance to those registered, we may be able to turn the tables on them.
When I registered, I left no comments to indicate I oppose his “reform” and suggest no one from our side tips them off before the event. We have to understand how willing this administration is to mislead the American people, how devious they can be, and how complicit the media is in his propaganda campaign. We need to find ways to overcome their tactics and find a way in to get our message out at these events.
Registration is just a safety net to make sure we have people represented if they attempt to turn away unregistered attendees.
