‘Old People Got No Reason to Live’

from Nearly Nobody’s News

That’s the theory behind Obamacare/Pelosicare/Reidcare anyway. This parody of the old song ‘Short People’ by Randy Newman hits the nail on the head.

  5. in the beginning, but it will make the free-market option, your own insurance, too costly and therefore put the private insurers out of business. Then there will not be a choice.

  8. Troy that was funny, however, since I am one of those old people, it ceased to be funny pretty quick. Maybe we could save some money for healthcare by eliminating Lib Dims for they are far more destructive to this country than old or fat people. Just think what their psych costs must be.

  9. 30% profits? Better check your facts. Of the”major” health insurance companies the highest profit in 2008 was 8% with the average being 2%-4%. A far cry from 30%, you must have that confused with the companies that the Pelosi family is involved in.

  10. If this crap is passed, starting in 2013 (the year Obamacare would go into effect) health insurance companies are prohibited from writing “new” policies. Mr Deel, how do they go about competing with the government health insurance when they are not allowed to write new policies? As people die or they drop/lose their coverage the companies can not … Read Moreadd a new customer to replace that business and eventually their customer base is gone and they are out of business. I don’t care how liberals define “competition” but forcing companies out of business is not competition it is socialism.
