Democratic Rep. “Cold Cash” Jefferson Convicted!

Yesterday, former Louisiana Representative William “Cold Cash” Jefferson “was convicted of 11 of 16 counts, including bribery, racketeering and money laundering.”  The charges stemmed from an investigation that culminated in FBI agents finding $90,000 in cash stored in Jefferson’s freezer.

Sentencing is scheduled for October 30, but Jefferson’s attorney has stated they will appeal the verdict.
