What now? We work to Repeal It!

by John Allison III, editor

Now that the Democrats have forced the American people to swallow the unconstitutional, unwanted government takeover of the US health care system, it’s more important than ever that we continue the fight.

More than a year of protests, town halls, letters, calls, and emails to our Senators and Representatives have left us battle weary and perhaps ready to rest. Several times the past few months we thought we had won the war, but each time our opponent abandoned the rule book we were playing by and found a way to press on. But it’s important to realize our enemy is battle scarred and weakened from the prolonged fight as well. They too will be ready to relax, thinking they’ve won and the fight is finished.

But we must search ourselves for our reserves, gather whatever strength we have remaining and continue the fight.

The primary season is upon us. Our energy must now be devoted to identifying, promoting, and electing true conservative Republican candidates who can defeat these Constitution destroying Democrats who have now shackled us with Socialism. Whether or not you identify yourself as a Republican, it’s essential in 2010 we nominate and then elect conservative GOP candidates. Why?

Because the number one priority in these midterm elections is to demote Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. We absolutely must take control on at least one of the Houses of Congress. Pelosi and Reid each determine what legislation comes to the floor of their respective houses of Congress, and nothing less than a Republican majority can change that. Committee chairmanships are also decided by the party in the majority of each house. Yet another reason it’s imperative we take back at least one of the two houses.

Since the Democrats’ insisted on passing this toxic legislation that a majority of Americans made clear they didn’t want, they’ve created for themselves an open sore that must be healed if they hope to win in November. We must focus our attacks on that sore, and do everything in our power to keep it open and festering throughout the campaign.

The Club for Growth is working to do just that. Their “Repeal It” pledge has already been signed by more than 50 lawmakers, over 200 candidates, and almost 15000 citizens. The pledge taken by lawmakers and candidates states they promise to “sponsor and support legislation to repeal any federal health care takeover passed in 2010, and replace it with real reforms that lower health care costs without growing government.” Citizens take a pledge to support, “with my time, money, and vote – only candidates who pledge to support its repeal and replacement with real reforms that lower health care costs without growing government.”

Club for Growth has made it simple to find out if your favorite lawmaker or candidate has signed the pledge. Just go to their website, http://www.repealit.org/, to check. For example, I can click here to instantly see which candidates in my home state of Arkansas have signed the pledge.

If you haven’t done so, please take the citizens’ pledge. Then check to see which Republican candidates in your state have signed, and help get them elected so we can repeal this law and make our way back to a Constitutional government.

House Dem Admits Rules Made Up “As We Go Along”

I only hope conservatives play the game the Democrat way when they take back the House and Senate in 2010.

We have to learn to play just as dirty as these sorry, no-good bastards when we’re on offense!

Democrats Charge Ahead…Against the Constitution and Our Will!

by John Allison III, Editor

Last year, President Barack Hussein Obama demanded Congress get Obamacare to his desk by the August Recess…then the Thanksgiving Recess…then the Christmas Recess. Didn’t happen. Why?

Because the American people didn’t want it.

And now he’s set another deadline…the Easter Recess. And again, the American people don’t want his government takeover of our health care system.

But Congressional Democrats don’t care what the people think, they are charging ahead. Earlier this week Pelosi basically told us we just have to trust her to know what’s best for us. “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it,” she told the American people. She plans to do just that this weekend.

She and her Democrat allies have even devised a plan to trash the constitutional provision demanding a House vote on the Senate bill using the “Slaughter Solution.” This latest trick was designed by House Rules Committee Chairwoman Louise Slaughter (D-NY) to help vulnerable Democrats avoid a direct vote that will very likely end their political careers.

If adopted, the rule will allow Democrats to “deem” the Senate bill passed without the up-or-down vote President Obama has called for recently. This blatantly disregards the constitution’s (which I’m now doubting any of these Democrats have ever read) Article I requirements for a vote on legislation.

Article I, Section 5

Each House shall keep a Journal of its Proceedings, and from time to time publish the same, excepting such Parts as may in their Judgment require Secrecy; and the Yeas and Nays of the Members of either House on any question shall, at the Desire of one fifth of those Present, be entered on the Journal.

So the constitution requires, if 1/5 of those present request it, that Yeas and Nays on any question be recorded!

I’m just about 100% sure we can get at least 20 Senators and 87 Representatives to request a vote be taken and the results recorded.

But these Democrat tyrants have no regard for the constitution! And no regard for the majority of Americans who oppose their tyranny! If they can disregard this clause, they can pick the entire document to pieces. An article here, a clause there, a section here, an amendment there…until our founding document has been completely shredded. Our rights, enumerated by our forefathers over 200 years ago, like so much confetti.

Rise up America! Use the links at the right to call, write, and email you Congressman and Senators today. Otherwise, this may be the last week our Constitution is worth the paper it’s written on!

Our Children are Going to Pay

by Curtis Coleman, Arkansas GOP candidate for US Senate

Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) voted to borrow another $1.9 TRILLION this past week…and our children are going to pay. What kind of immorality is this that we are recklessly throwing away our children’s future? What happened to us that we care more about our comfort than their freedom?

Of course, Sen. Lincoln had little choice since she and her cohorts in Congress have been consistently spending more than is coming in. It’s called deficit spending. If it continues, it inevitably leads to bankruptcy. Which is where the U.S. is headed on a high-speed train.

There is a very important distinction between a deficit and the debt. Deficit spending means we’re spending more than we’re taking in. Debt is what results from deficit spending. The deficit is how much we are borrowing. The debt is how much we have already borrowed from lenders like China.

So, as a country we have already borrowed $12,400,000,000,000 to finance our deficit spending. That’s our debt. President Obama is now asking us to spend $1,700,000,000,000 more in 2010 than the federal government’s projected income. That amount will be our deficit this year. The result? We’ll have a new total debt of $14,100,000,000,000 at the end of year. Let me bring this closer to home. This debt is not the money somebody else owes. This is the money you owe. The only money the government has is your money.

Your portion is $45,000. Pay up, please! Don’t have it? Well, then we’ll have to borrow it from somebody (probably the Chinese if they’ll still lend it to us). So our children will have to pay it back – plus interest.

Is this really okay with you?

The POLR (Pelosi/Obama/Lincoln/Reid) Administration is now talking about reducing the deficit starting next year. (That’s kind of like me starting a diet- tomorrow.) All that means is that we’ll slow how fast we’re still borrowing money! We must stop deficit spending, but we must also attack the debt. Our country’s debt is a clear and present danger, an urgent matter of national security, and it must be attacked as our worst enemy.

What is the solution?

Well, let’s start with the profoundly obvious: Spend less than we have. When our outgo exceeds our income, our overhead will be our downfall. So, we can either increase our income or decrease our outgo. Or do both!

First, how do we increase our income? The liberals believe we do that by increasing taxes. That approach seems to make sense – but it doesn’t. Our economic history has consistently shown that when we increase taxes, we suppress growth in our economy and discourage initiative and achievement in our people. The government ends up taking a bigger piece of a shrinking pie. This process is a death spiral – and one the U.S. is on today.

What we must do is allow U.S. businesses and individuals to generate more income by (1) reducing taxes and (2) getting a stifling, smothering, anti-business bureaucracy out of our faces, out of our offices, and out of our pocketbooks. Our economic history has consistently shown that reducing taxes creates economic growth. The result is government can take a smaller piece of a much bigger pie and still increase its income. When Americans discover that they get to keep more of the income they generate, they’ll generate a lot more income – and the pie gets even bigger! But government’s intrusion into every aspect of our economy creates huge inefficiencies as businesses and individuals must deal with the demands placed upon them.

Increasing income is only ½ of the solution. We must also decrease our outgo. How do we do that?

The cost of government has gotten too big because the size of government has gotten too big. We reduce the cost of government by reducing the size of government. Easier said than done? You bet!

So where do we start? Well, you can poke the federal government just about anywhere and hit fat, so our choices are almost endless. Let’s start with eliminating some of these bloated, competitive, and duplicative bureaucracies. (I’ve been in the food safety business for the last decade. I’ve been told that there are as many as 17 different federal agencies that regulate food safety. That over-regulation could explain why we don’t have safer food – and a budget deficit!)

We must rein in some terribly out-of-bounds if not out-of-control federal agencies such as the EPA, which has become something like a 21st century American Gestapo. It recently told Congress that it will do by regulation what Congress refuses to do by legislation. When a federal agency blackmails Congress, it is time for that bureaucracy to have its wings clipped and its chain dramatically shortened.

But more fundamentally and much more importantly, we must make a multi-generational commitment to return and reshape the federal government to the original prescription of the Constitution.

The biggest challenge to reducing the size of the federal government is the inevitable battle over what we will be cut and what will be kept. Those decisions – though painful – are not as difficult as they are made to seem. We already have an adopted blueprint for the role of the federal government. It’s called the Constitution of the United States of America. It clearly defines what the federal government is supposed to do, and perhaps more importantly, what the federal government is not supposed to do.

We are far adrift from its prescription. If we’re going to survive this seemingly insoluble situation, we must make the commitment – an indisputable, multi-generational and solemn commitment – to reshape and restore the federal government according to the Constitution’s prescription.

This is the fundamental battle we must fight and win in Congress. We start now and we must not waver nor be deterred. We must put – not just politicians – but leaders in Congress; bulldogs instead of blue dogs; warriors who understand that nothing less than liberty and freedom for our children and their children are at stake.

If you agree that the battle to win the U.S. Senate seat in Arkansas will be nothing compared to the battle that must be fought after we win this seat, please stand with me by contributing your time and money. Please make the most generous contribution you possibly can today at www.CurtisColeman.com. This is the time to use every resource and leverage every relationship we have to carry this fight to Washington.

Thank you for standing with me in this fight for freedom!

Victory in Massachusetts: What it means

Yesterday, the people of Massachusetts went to the polls and voted for real “change” in Washington.  And change is already coming.  We, the people of these United States, would like to express our appreciation to all those Massachusetts voters who voted for Lt. Col. Scott Brown for US Senate.

Two weeks ago, we began urging readers across the country to volunteer on Brown’s campaign.  At that time, Rasmussen Hundreds of you responded with donations of money and valuable time, and the fruit of your effort was harvested last night when Democrat Martha Coakley conceded and Brown declared victory.  The significance of that victory cannot be overstated.

Your tireless efforts on behalf of the Brown campaign helped the Republican candidate win the seat formerly held by the hard left, liberal icon Ted Kennedy.  Democrats practically declared Coakley the winner of the seat after her December victory in Massachusetts’ Democratic primary, and the majority of pundits and politicians on both sides of the aisle believed likewise.

But Scott Brown didn’t give up.  He didn’t throw in the towel because so many said he couldn’t win.  And you didn’t either!

Voters in Massachusetts served as shock troops in the first battle of an offensive by the American people.  An offensive to take this country back from those who campaigned as representatives of the people, but abandoned their constituents after taking office is now underway.  Massachusetts will now serve as our beach head.

In the year after gaining complete control of both the Executive and Legislative branches of government, Democrats interpreted their historic victory in 2008 as a license by the American people to impose nothing less than Socialism on the electorate.  Abandoning any semblance of bipartisanship, high-level Congressional Democrats met in secret with White House officials to make back room deals on every major piece of legislation crafted in Obama’s first year.  Republican bills, amendments, and resolutions were ignored or voted down without serious consideration.  Democrats had the power to impose their will on a resistant constituency and intended to use it.

Even as polls showed Brown gaining on Coakley and Democrats were forced to consider his victory a real possibility, Democrats continued to insist they would move forward on Obama’s health care legislation regardless of the outcome of this election.  Threats to delay seating Brown or to violate long-standing Senate rules to subvert the will of the American people further alienated voters around the country.

Democrats proved just how out of touch they were.

Now the battle is on for the rest of the country.  One third of the US Senate is up for grabs this fall, as is the entire House of Representatives.  Republican Senator candidates in Arkansas, Colorado, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Kentucky are leading their Democrat challengers by comfortable margins.  In Illinois, Missouri, and California, Republican candidates are already polling closer to their Democrat opponents than Brown was to Coakley two weeks before he defeated her.

With the exception of California, these states are certainly less blue than Massachusetts.  Therefore, it’s a real possibility that voters in these 11 states alone could put the Republican party back in the Senate driver’s seat.  Charlie Cook of The Cook Political Report even speculated on MSNBC’s Hardball it’s possible that we might “see no Republican incumbent, House or Senate, lose” in 2010.

A Republican majority in the US Senate is now a very real possibility after the 2010 elections.

Democrat Congressmen were badly beaten up in town hall meetings throughout the summer and early fall as the push for Obama’s government takeover of the US health care system intensified.  But House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) squeezed out a 5-vote victory for the Socialization of 1/6 of the US economy in November.  It took every bit of political strength she had to twist the arms of enough Democrats from conservative districts to stand with her and the ultra-liberal wing of her party.  Some of these Dems are already announcing plans not to run for re-election this year, and others who had been recruited by the DNCC to run against Republican incumbents have already dropped out of their races as well.  It’s almost certain that Democrats will lose a substantial number of seats in November, but there may be an even more immediate consequence of Brown’s victory on the US House.

Pelosi may no longer be able to muster her razor thin majority to pass the reconciled bill that will come out of the secret, behind-closed-doors meetings being held to iron out the differences in the two chambers’ health care bills.

President Obama dithered on whether or not to make the trip to Massachusetts to campaign for Coakley until Sunday.  Finally, two days before the election, the President took Air Force One to Boston in an effort to motivate Democrats to get out the vote for Coakley.  After campaigning for losing gubernatorial candidates in Virginia and New Jersey last fall, Obama had to know this was a huge gamble.  All along, he has counted on his political capital to sway Democrats with conservative constituencies to vote for his left-wing policies. Virginia and New Jersey were strikes one and two, Massachusetts proved to be strike three.

Obama’s inability to secure a Coakley victory in the deep blue Bay State has greatly compromised his ability to convince nervous Democrats they’re better off voting with him than their constituents.  He’s now running very low on political capital.

Chairman of the Republican National Committee Michael Steele has already sent out a fund-raising letter calling Brown’s victory “our Party’s first victory of 2010.”  But in his victory speech, Scott Brown was careful not to credit the Republican party, but the independent voters of Massachusetts for his victory. “Tonight the independent majority has delivered a great victory,” Brown said.

Checking the several blogs on the GOP’s website, not one article appears promoting Brown’s candidacy in the past two weeks.  Not one article asking supporters to help elect a Republican candidate to Ted Kennedy’s old seat.  Even RNC press releases over the last couple of weeks make no mention of the critical race.  But now that Brown won, Steele hopes to siphon off some of the energy to convert it to funds for the RNC.

Brown realizes his victory was not an endorsement of the Republican establishment, but a rejection of the Democrat establishment.  Michael Steele and the RNC haven’t yet figured that out.

Although the Republican party did little to help make Brown’s victory possible, conservative activists across the nation did, especially on the internet.  Practically every conservative activist site we keep tabs on was consistently and continuously promoting Brown’s candidacy.  Participants on these sites form the core of the rallies and town halls that slowed down Obama’s wave of Socialism when the Republican party could not.  These are the people who participate in the Tea Parties and organize protests against Congressmen and Senators who refused to listen to their constituents.

The Tea Party movement has established itself as a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming congressional elections.  The GOP better be careful not to take these conservative activists’ votes for granted, but must instead make concessions to once again win their trust.

In summary, Democrats with conservative constituencies have now been put on notice.  The American people demand to be represented and not ruled!  The Republican hierarchy will be tempted to believe they achieved this victory and seek to exploit it when in fact, the GOP can take very little credit for Brown’s victory.   Tea Party activists should pat themselves on the back and congratulate themselves for a job well don.  But don’t get too comfortable.

Our challenge now will be two-fold.  First, to continue the fight to remove those representatives who have refused to represent their constituents.  But we must also now be careful to hold the Republican party accountable, and avoid being used by the establishment.  The establishment led us into the abyss from which we’ve fought so hard to extract ourselves these past few months.  Those of us who’ve participated in and believe in the Tea Party movement must continue to fight for reform in the Republican party.

For now though, congratulations.  We’ve fought long and hard to achieve this victory.

Many thanks to all who made this possible.  To Scott Brown.  To the Massachusetts voters.  And to all of those across the country who donated their time and money to help achieve this victory!

“It’s the people’s seat!”

Lt. Col. Scott Brown understands what so many in Washington, both Democrats and Republicans have apparently forgotten. Our Senators and Congressmen work for us!

With all due respect, it’s not the Kennedy’s seat, it’s not the Democrats’ seat, it’s the people’s seat!“–Scott Brown (R-MA)

Last week Rasmussen released a poll showing Brown trailing liberal Democrat Martha Coakley 50-41.  Then a few days later, Democrat pollster Tom Jensen with Public Policy Polling found a plurality of Massachusetts voters supported Brown.

Today, Rasmussen’s newest numbers in the race support Jensen’s findings.  In their latest poll, Coakley takes 49% and Brown earns 47%.  Though most voters expect Brown to win, the race is amazingly close for the deep blue Bay State.  Just a few weeks ago, no one expected Brown to even come close.  But now he’s got momentum and has Democrats nervous.

Yesterday, Brown held a 24 hour online fundraising campaign and raked in $1.3 Million from small donations.  Grassroots Americans from across the country recognized the importance of this race and gave generously to help Brown win the seat formerly held by Ted “Lady Killer” Kennedy (D).

You can help Brown take “the people’s seat” back for “the people.”  Even if you can’t contribute financially, Brown’s website offers citizens from anywhere in the country to volunteer by making phone calls for his get-out-the-vote campaign.  So please, contribute financially if you can.  But even if that’s not possible at the moment, please make a few phone calls to make Brown the 41st vote that will put an end to Obama, Reid, and Pelosi cramming unconstitutional and unwanted legislation down the throats of the American people!

Join the fight against Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, Lincoln, Frank and Hagan!

When facing a seemingly overwhelming opponent, it’s tough to step up and enter the ring.  And our opposition seems overwhelming at times without a doubt.

With a 60 vote supermajority in the US Senate and a 78 vote majority in the House of Representatives, resistance can at times seem futile.  But resist we must, and victory might not prove as elusive as it appears at first glance.

Conservatives have learned from the mistakes of the past decade, mistakes that allowed Barack Obama and the Democrat machine to dominate the new political arena in 2008.  But conservative Americans took note, and took the lead in implementing the parts of Obama’s strategy that propelled him to victory in ’08.  And we’ve made great strides.

The Tea Parties that sprung forth last year give evidence to the effectiveness of the new conservative strategy.  Even with Obama’s super majorities, we were able to delay much of his agenda.  In the wake of the election, Democrats thought they were in for smooth sailing for at least four years.  But they quickly learned the Silent Majority hadn’t perished, only slept while Democrats lied and connived to weasel their way into power.

No sooner than they were sworn in, they began to shed their sheep’s clothing and their true wolfish selves were revealed.  Record debt, spending, and deficits contradicted their promises of fiscal responsibility on the campaign trail.  Then came job killing legislation that broke their promises to create jobs for Americans.  Democrats then chose to ignore the country’s economic woes (that they had already exacerbated), instead pursuing a budget busting health care bill that finally brought Americans’ blood to a boil.

Supposedly centrist Democrats no longer represented the conservative districts from whence they came, but instead did the bidding of President Obama (D), Speaker Pelosi (D-CA), and Majority Leader Reid (D-NV) in all of these legislative endeavors.  Democrats from coast to coast joined in the march to Socialism for America.

But yesterday we saw proof that the political winds have shifted and we must now make sail and take full advantage.  In one day, a conservative Republican candidate for Ted Kennedy’s old Senate seat in Massachusetts raised over $1 Million in an online fundraiser.  Lt. Col. Scott Brown led liberal MA Attorney General Martha Coakley by one point in poll recently, in a race for a seat Democrats never thought they could lose!

Western Representation PAC has launched a coordinated attack on several liberal Senators and Representatives for the 2010 election cycle.  The initial stage of this attack consisted of sponsoring the Facebook pages The Campaign Against Nancy Pelosi, The Campaign Against Harry Reid, The Campaign Against Barbara Boxer, The Campaign Against Barney Frank, The Campaign Against Chris Dodd, The Campaign Against Blanche Lincoln, and The Campaign Against Kay Hagan.  Already, over 20,000 have joined WRPAC’s ranks, and Chris Dodd has already announced he won’t run next year.

We need bodies and we encourage all to become fans of WRPAC‘s pages.  But, funds are also necessary to wage this war.  WRPAC’s goal is to eventually fund advertising and campaigns for candidates who support your values, who will represent you in Washington.  And these campaigns require funding.  This is why WRPAC has launched its own 24 hour online fundraising and membership drive today.

We realize times are tough, and not everyone can support the cause financially.  If you can’t, please do your part by helping us recruit more supporters.  But if you can spare even a little; $5, $10, whatever you can spare, it will help and your donation will not be going to fight only one candidate, but several liberal zealots from coast to coast.

So please join WRPAC’s pages as a fan and donate whatever you can.

Together we can take this country back!

How bad do Americans want to stop Obamacare?

How about bad enough to fork over more than $1 MILLION to Lt. Col. Scott Brown‘s campaign!

Brown‘s race against Democrat Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley has taken center stage in the battle for the Obama-Reid-Pelosi takeover of the US health care system.  Scrapping for the seat previously held by arguably THE MOST liberal Senator in history, the Killer of Chappaquiddick–Ted “Lady Killer” Kennedy (D), Coakley and Brown are locked in a neck and neck struggle for a Senate seat that was considered a shoe-in for Democrats until just a few days ago.

Americans from coast to coast are going to Brown’s website and clicking to donate as much as they can afford (as little as $5 in some cases) to help save our American way of life and stop the Obama-Pelosi-Reid march to American Socialism in its tracks.  Others are volunteering their time to make phone calls for Lt. Col. Brown, contacting voters and encouraging them to go to the polls Tuesday and cast their vote for a REAL change.

If you missed out on this fundraising campaign, don’t worry.  You can still help win this seat and make Scott Brown the 41st vote that will block the tragic legislation currently being forged behind closed doors by only the most liberal of Democrat Senators and Congressmen!

Visit Scott’s website today and donate what you can.  Even if it’s only $5!

And if you can’t help out with a financial contribution, please sign up to help with phone calls this week to Get Out The Vote next Tuesday!

Everyone of us can help, and show the far left loons in DC this isn’t the change we hoped for!

Liberals Terrified, Scott Brown Leads!

“Nobody Made A Greater Mistake Than He Who Did Nothing Because He Could Only Do a Little.” -Edmund Burke

Last week we let you know how you can help elect Lt. Col. Scott Brown (R) to Ted Kennedy’s old Senate seat in Massachusetts, and you responded!  Brad Marston, another patriot from MA who’s working to get Brown elected was impressed by your response and left the following comment on that post:

Wow! Thank you so much for posting this. We lost the Public Policy poll vote (Those Ron Paul folks are good) but people can still make phone calls and of course donate if you can.

You can watch Scott’s latest ad at https://www.icontribute.us/scottbrown/initiative/truck

Thank you all.

Dozens of you responded to Brad’s calls for donations and volunteers!  And your efforts are resulting in huge gains in this battle for our American way of life.  But we musn’t rest on our laurels now, for Liberal politicians are already plotting to subvert the will of Massachusetts voters when they lose this battle!

Soon after we posted last week, Rasmussen released a poll showing Brown trailing MA Attorney General Martha Coakley 50-41, but today the landscape has changed dramatically.  Left-leaning pollster Tom Jensen with Public Policy Polling released numbers yesterday that have him in a state of near panic.  Brown now leads Coakley 48-47 in the race!

Jensen points to the fact that Republicans are far more motivated to vote in this election than Democrats, and that Brown leads with independents by a stunning 63-31 margin.  This in one of the  most liberal states in the Union.  Jensen then goes on to enumerate steps he believes can overcome  Brown’s positives, which largely depend on motivating the Democrat base in MA.

Now, high ranking MA Democrats are promising to delay implementing the will of the Bay State’s voters when Brown wins next Tuesday!  Paul Kirk (D-MA), who was appointed in a shady move to repeal MA law to give the Obama-Pelosi-Reid axis their 60 vote majority in the Senate, declares “We want to get this resolved before President Obama’s State of the Union address in early to mid-February,” speaking of completing work on the unconstitutional health care bill.

But, Kirk and Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin are conspiring to ignore the voters when Brown wins next week’s election.  Brian McNiff, a Galvin spokesman, told the Boston Herald, “We’d have to wait 10 days for absentee and military ballots to come in.”  And another Herald source states the results of next Tuesday’s election won’t be certified before February 20th.

Long enough that Kirk and other Democrat conspirators hope President Obama, Sen. Harry Reid, and Rep. Nancy Pelosi will have told Massachusetts voters “It doesn’t matter what they want or think or vote for, our ruling Democrats will do whatever the Hell they want and the voters can be damned if they don’t agree!”  Because that’s exactly what passage of Obamacare will mean if Brown wins this election.

The message is clear from Democrats:  “Massachusetts voters don’t matter, we’ll do what the Hell we want regardless of the outcome of the election!”

But Obama, Pelosi, and Reid aren’t accounting for the shock wave that will run through Democrat ranks in Congress when Republican Scott Brown wins the seat occupied so long by the ultra-liberal Ted Kennedy!  Democrats took this race for granted because, after all, we’re talking Massachusetts here.  The state where champions of the left Barney Frank and Ted Kennedy couldn’t lose!

A victory by a Republican here, in what some might consider the heart of liberal America, would put every left-leaning liberal Democrat on notice:  “Vote for Obamacare at your political peril!”

And Democrats are scared!

“It would be unconscionable for the seat held for 40 years by the inestimable Senator Kennedy to be allowed to pass to an enemy of everything he stood for.” “Massachusetts is a progressive state, always has been, always will be. Scott Brown is the antithesis of a progressive. He has no business running in this state. …His election would be an insult to Kennedy’s memory.” ~Harry Reid (D-NV)~

A Brown victory may even turn some progressive Democrats from supporting this bill that WILL increase taxes AND raise health insurance premiums, that WILL make taxpayers responsible for abortions, that WILL increase the deficit, that WILL result in the rationing of health care (especially for seniors), and that WILL eventually cover illegal aliens!

That’s why it’s essential conservatives across the country rally behind and support Lt. Col. Scott Brown’s campaign for US Senate!  Now’s the time to donate what you can.  Even if it’s only $5, please donate what you can.  Now’s the time to volunteer.  Even if you can only make a couple of calls a day.

This race could be the hinge that allows the door to begin to swing the other way. Please step up and help however you can!
