I really wish these scientist would decide one way or the other.  Just when I’m getting ready to get rid of all my winter clothes and looking forward to tropical weather in Arkansas year round, now it looks like we’ll be trying to survive arctic winters.  What’s a body to do?

Many sources of data which provide our knowledge base of long-term climate change indicate that the warm, twelve thousand year-long Holocene period will rather soon be coming to an end, and then the earth will return to Ice Age conditions for the next 100,000 years. Time to pull out the global warming picture again!

Obama Weekly Radio Address 12-20-08

As usual, preceded and followed by the shameless ad as Obama continues to seek financial gain from his position as POTUS-elect, here’s Obama’s radio address from last week.

This week, Obama stresses that government policy will return to science based policy, “especially when it’s inconvenient.” He announces his appointment of Dr. John Holdren as “Assitant to the President for Science and Technology.

What he doesn’t say, or at least doesn’t put into words, is we’re going to make a concerted effort to break any ties America may have with those pesky principles associated with the Judeo-Christian belief system. You see, that’s what the left really means when they try to convince you the right doesn’t support the advancement of science and technology.

The left attempts to ridicule opposition to stem cell research, human cloning, and global warming as the result of some right wing conspiracy to suppress knowledge, ignoring the fact that all of their theories on these issues are nothing more than conjecture and reactionary responses. They also refuse to acknowledge that unfettered access to capital to explore them poses real risk of results that would be as harmful as those they envision would be helpful.

Well, enough of that rant. Here’s your weekly radio address by President-elect Barack Hussein Obama.

his recent announcement naming Carol Browner his “energy czar.”

Yes, this is the same Carol Browner who headed up the EPA under President Clinton and earned a reputation as an environmental radical and an enemy of industry with a heavy-handed regulatory agenda. Obama has thus signaled loud and clear his intent to take strong action against greenhouse gases (GHG’s) produced by the anthropogenic (man-made) burning of fossil fuels and the resultant emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) they emit.

Global warming? Where?

The big problem with all this is that the global warming theory and its predictions of cataclysmic warming rest almost entirely on computer models which purport to have the ability to predict temperatures 50 and even 100 years into the future. Unfortunately, these models have a history of failure in that they were unable to come close to predicting the 20th century warming of .6C (vs predictions at least twice that) and are so far completely wrong on warming this century.

As well, hundreds of the world’s top climate scientists have begun to question the assumptions underlying this theory but have thus far been ignored by the main stream media, (msm) depriving the world of data which would put this issue in its proper perspective. Some examples follow:
