Christian church blocked from rebuilding at Ground Zero
While President Barack Hussein Obama and Mayor Bloomberg do everything in their power to convince Americans that radical Muslims have a right to build a mosque near the site where 3000+ were slaughtered by their terrorist brothers, the New York Port Authority is blocking the rebuilding of a Greek Orthodox Christian church that was destroyed in the attacks on September 11, 2001.
St. Nicholas Church’s difficulty in getting approvals to rebuild stands in stark contrast to the treatment that the developers of the proposed Cordoba mosque have received. New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg, state Atty. Gen. Andrew Cuomo, and a raft of city officials have all come out publicly in favor of building the mosque, and the city’s Landmarks and Preservation Commission recently voted unanimously to deny protection to the building currently occupying the site where the mosque is to be built.
Though crushed by the falling towers, government officials (the same ones who are bending over backwards to give the terrorists a viewing platform to gloat from as they gaze at the site where the towers once stood) are demanding the church move from its previous spot and rebuild as a tiny structure that will be dwarfed by the future Islamic memorial to the bloodthirsty murderers who crashed planes into the symbols of American greatness.
Trouble emerged after St. Nicholas announced its plans to build a traditional Greek Orthodox church building, 24,000 square feet in size, topped with a grand dome. Port Authority officials told the church to cut back the size of the building and the height of the proposed dome, limiting it to rising no higher than the World Trade Center memorial.

The mosque is proposed to rise 13 stories, far above the height of the World Trade Center memorial, with no height restrictions imposed.
How can any red-blooded American support this hypocritical discrimination? Anyone who refuses to admit this is nothing more than an attempt to appease the murderous Muhammed worshippers who wish to destroy us is either a liar who wants to see America crushed under the weight of oppressive Islamists or an utter fool.

Listen if you really want to look at this from a perfect idea the Cultural Center should be built for it is on Brodway and it is far enough away from the hole in the groung that people call ground zero. Come on people it was just a building that was taken down by some crazy people who by the way are dead along with the peope who were in the building. This is america ans the land for all religions and people and muslims were killed that day too! Least we forget. So what is all this hoopla about , just something to talk about as we are americans and really we should be more tolerant of all religions who reaylly in their right mind would oppose the cultural center from being built there think about it it is a good thing for all americans must better than a menorial that people will have to pay to see and the cost to tax payers for the maint. will cosr so much more in the long run. be peaseful respect your brothers of all religions in this country for you never know what the future brings.

You are, of course, free to believe as you wish. But I stand by my opinion, that building this mosque in this location is nothing more than an attempt by radical Islam to build a shrine to the Muslim murderers who struck the American homeland on 9/11/2001. Nothing but hate and discontent will come from locating the Muslim Murderers’ Monument so close to the site where ~3000 died that day.
It isn’t about religious freedom, it’s about war…a war on terror…and letting the enemy construct a firebase within our own lines. Not literally of course, but politically. The propaganda victory from the construction of this mosque will only encourage more terrorists and attacks.
The sad thing is you may be too naive to realize this, but many (likely including our President) are not. These low-life scumbags that advocate the building of this Muslim Murderers’ Monument on the ashes of our dead WANT the US defeated in this war.
We will continue to fight against this Shrine to Muslim Terrorists from being built.
