Ray Stevens, the artist whose humorous country songs include “Ahab the Arab” and “Mississippi Squirrel Revival” has written what’s sure to be a new hit–Caribou Barbie.
The song pokes fun at liberal media hacks who constantly attack former Alaska governor Sarah Palin and reminds viewers of Palin’s accomplishments while leading the country’s largest (in land area) state. And here are a couple of verses in the song that’s sure to send liberals into even more of a screaming fit:
“Palin for President
has a nice ring to it.
Obama shelved in 2012
and you and I can do it.
A President with common sense
now that’d be somethin’ new.
Throw out that tax and spend Jackass
Vote in the Caribou.”
How many women do you know that would get worm poo-poo
under there fingernails, catch and clean and fry that fish, and after that give there self there own manicure. That’s one of the main reasons I’m votin’ Caribou. Commendable

I love, love, love, love the latest video from Ray Stevens! And I, too, find it hysterical that the liberals are in fact throwing a screaming fit over the song. I at first thought the liberals would take the video literally and accuse Ray of making fun of Sarah’s image but they proven me wrong…they actually are well aware that it’s a Pro-Palin song. The liberals, last time, tried to say that Ray was making fun of Tea Partiers with “We The People” in an effort to diminish it’s impact and so I assumed they’d try the same thing with “Caribou Barbie”.
Those lyrics you quoted are great and are, as you said, sure to send the liberals into a hissy fit. The song not only is Pro-Palin but it uses the liberal’s derogatory nick-name of Palin, “caribou barbie”, and twists it around to her benefit. Love it!
So, President Obama goes head-to-head, face-to-face with pretty much the entire Republican leadership over health care on live, nation-wide TV (C-SPAN) and is so sharp and well-prepared, it’s kind of like watching Samson laying waste to the Philistines. And Caribou Barbie (your nickname, not mine) looks like a deer caught in the headlights when the ferocious Katie Couric asked her a simple, innocent question about what magazines and newspapers she reads to stay up on current events. And you think this woman is qualified to be our President? This woman who, since that embarrassing interview, has repeatedly demonstrated difficulty assembling a coherent sentence, spoken or in print? There are indeed conservative women out there who are Presidential material. If you really cared about the future of our country, you’d support one of them. Or is the fact that few, if any of them, look as good Caribou Barbie in tight shorts a dealbreaker for you?
Oh, and one more thing: Ray Stevens is a funny, funny man, but knows about as much about governing the United States as he does about Arabian culture.
